“Tarkovsky's River” brings together moving video-diary images that refer in substance to the films of Andrei Tarkovsky. Tracing a river journey along the Upper Volga to Yureyvits, birthplace and childhood home of the film-maker, it is about going into a deeper sense of the land, and of time itself, which is where Tarkovsky takes us.
